I'm thinking of purchasing one, I've only seen one that I really like but it's like $75. SSV site has a link to it on their site. After reading their website it convinced me I should be putting my stash in there so all the crystals don't accumulate in a plastic bag, but rather through a screen and onto a mirror (or whatever the individual box has), that way I can utilize this very special stuff. Any reccomendations?

You can make your own with noting more than a box with a piece of a bug screen from a window and a sheet of paper or something of the sort so the keif doenst get lost in the box. Its probably not going to match the quality of one that costs $75 dollars but it will do the job. Keif boxes are a good investment if you are a regular toker and keep your stash mostly at your house and smoke high quality marijuana. If you are a mids smoker, you wont collect much keif.

I collect a decent amount in my grinder, the stuff I have right now isn't high quality but it's mid-high. I basically want something to store my stash in other than a plastic bag. I should probably get glass jar that way it doesn't dry out, and a kief box for handling purposes.

The thing about kif boxes is you require high grade marijuana in order to get your moneys worth in 'collecting kief'. Otherwise, I'd say go for it. If your not going to get it, a simple glass jar, perhaps a mason jar with a lid, will keep your buds from being squished or losing crystals on the container. Otherwise, try investing in a grinder with a kief collector. Mendo Mulcher, Space Case, and Sharp Stone are 3 good companies to start browsing. Let us know what you decide on doing ![]()

I shopped around for some time before I bought this Kif box from Exotic Zombie [Commercial link removed by mod] ![]() (Warning, High res picture of mine, not the most 56k friendly link) [Commercial link removed by mod] Enrique at Exotic Zombie is a nice guy and always willing to answer any questions you might have, plus not to mention it's a handmade well crafted KIF box. I ordered the cheaper red oak as I might add some exotic inlays down the road. Well worth the money, and is far better than most KIF boxes pumped out of China, in fact it's better than most KIF boxes on the market. BCboxes was my 2nd choice, but I liked the Zombie box better. Plus Exotic Zombie boxes are reasonably priced and won't break your bank. I have lots of high res pics, if you want to see a different angle or what not, shoot me a PM [Mod note : Commercial links are not allowed. If you would like to arrange advertising space on the site please PM Rick. I'm sure he would be willing to work something out with you] Last edited by Pompo : 05-13-2008 at 09:05 PM.

Those actually look like great kief boxes! I'm not sure if posting those links is legit though, you should read the posting guidelines. Anyways, I looked at the picture you posted and I'd have to say it looks nice. The only way it could get a good grade though is if you show it's product, that is the kief. Speaking of kief boxes, I was cleaning earlier today and found my old kief box. My cameras battery died, otherwise I'd upload a picture, but it's of a very similar design as yours. It's much smaller however.

Forgot to mention, for storage, nothing beats a Tightvac. I find having several 1.3 liter Tightvacs to be the ideal size. Check them out, betcha You will like them ![]()

I use a small Kif box for my high grade stuff, but I use a couple of Tightvacs for everything else. I just collect the Kif from my grinder.

| ive had my kif box now for about 4 years. between it and mason jars, my herbs never touch plastic and ive never once missed the crap. if you look around on the interwebs, you can find some good deals on some nice looking boxes. i got mine from smoke shop hopping around seattle. if you go to 5 of your locals shops, one might just have some in stock- then you can at least look at the quality of the product up close and personallike.
