|  Is it just me... Or has the market gone down recently? I've been noticing that everyones portfolio is down at least 1 or 2%, and those that are up are up 3 or 4% less than usual... |

| One simple rule: The stock market value is inversely proportional to the price of crude oil. Oil prices go up, stock prices go down across the board. Oil prices go down, stock prices go up. The world economy is dependent on liquified dead dinosaurs, so the price of oil affects everything.

| Lol We are in a recession. We may not have met the definition for it yet, but most if not all economical signs point that way. I called the branch manager I interned with at Raymond James last week. All their research expects the DOW to hit 10,000 by this time next year. Stay out of the housing and credit markets. If you think the tech bubble was bad, just wait for the housing and credit bubble. It will make the tech bubble look like a spring rain compared to the hurricane coming. |

| It's still possible to make a profit from day trading... just a bit riskier. I made about 400 off of csco on a 1 day investment with 14k. |

| Yeah, I had 628 shares of CSCO I just sold out. And I was considering buying a few shares of AAPL, but it's up so I'm out.  |
