| My friend got some kush and it was great but none of us had any idea what kind it was. I know its probably impossible to identify a strain if it isn't coming from a grower, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what kind of kush this is. BTW It smelled and tasted like sour apple. ![]() |

| No idea, but I name my own strains when I get them if nobody has done it for me already, so name it sour apple sunshine.

| o way to tell without having grown it yourself. You CANNOT positively ID a strain simply by a picture. For all we know that might not even be "kush". "Kush" is just the name of the day, by and large. Before that, everything good was sold as "haze" it seemed. The simplle fact of the matter is that if you absolutely HAVE to know what strain you are smoking, the only gurantees you'll ever get are if you grew it yourself, or are close to the grower. By the time its hit the first middlemen, the same weed might have a 1/2 dozen different "names" attached to it.

| there's a lot of different kinds of kush. the only way to only really identity it is for one of us to actually smell the weed/smoke. but personally the only type of kush that i've smoked that had a hint of sour smell was the pineapple kush. but it looks amazing regardless of the name! just enjoy it, and good luck finding out
