What kind of weed is this I have?

I cant get a pic right now since I lost my camera but this weed is kinda darkish green and has lots of purple and green crystals. Lots of the purple ones are really rapping through it and I dont think they are stems.

Is this some kind of purple haze stuff or what. Ill get a pic soon

Edit: its a decent amount of white dusty crystal like stuff on it, which is supposed to be good.

The last time I smoked this with my dealer I got high off one little bowl hit

Edit: Just tried to take a pic of it wheN I realized my "good" camera is a peice of shit at close shots and it just looks like a green blur.

I'll get a pic later.

It's most likely Purple Haze or any Purple strain really, but we really can't know for sure without a picture, and even then it is still hard to know exactly what strain unless you know the person who grew it.

It's impossible to look at herb and tell what exact strain it is because there are so many different crosses of herb out there today.

AFAIK, trichomes don't come in purple. They start off clear, turn white, and then tan as the plant matures. I'm wondering about the "purple crystals" in your sample. Dye?

With 5,000 commercial cannabis strains available, most of them looking very similar as finished buds, it would be difficult to identify one if you had the buds in front of you, much less from a one-line description.

how and why would someone go through and dye a couple of the tiny crystals.

I smoked like .25g and damn its some crazy shit so its obviously some good strain. Ill just ask the dealer when i see him again.

purple dye is actually commonly used in hydroponics, purple water=purple plants.

If it is truly a purple strain, it is indica dominant, but like others have said, it's damn near impossible to tell even with a picture.

Its impossible enough to tell with a picture, without one its even more impossible. The only thing we could help you with is telling you how good it is. Even for that you need a pretty good camera to make clear pictures.
