Basically Ive been buying from two people. One person sold me some good kush and the smell is really strong sweetish/sourish smell, I could smell it in my pocket inside the bag. The other person sold me a type of kush but it smells like dirt and grass, it has no sour smell of all the weed ive smelled before, and he sold me some puffy bright green good ass sticky and stinky weed that looks like basically a fuckin green crystally cotton ball before and it was so good so I trust the guy. I did smoke only a tiny bowl(the weak smelling "kush"), I felt a little high but the high was more of a sleepy high, but it was not as strong as the other guys. Im afraid to do a more fully packed bowl because im kind of scared if something is in it because it smells strange. by the way, both the kushes I have look somewhat identical but the one that smells strong has alot of noticable crystals.

Earthy and grassy are valid flavors/smells, there are a few reasons bud would have that smell. One is just the type of bud...some just have that smell. Another is improper curing, and another is the way it is transported, in alfalfa bails for instance.

I've gotten quite a few buds that a police Dog couldn't have smelled, even if I had put it directly under their noses and said "Hey Rex! Check it out, man. Weed!!"
It's mostly true that a skunkier smell is an indicator of the good stuff, but not always.

I wouldn't be worried that there's something in it. The chances of that are slim and none. Those smells are normal for different strains, you should be fine

i would say if your not sure about it dont smoke it. you seem to know most of the signs of good herb so i would say do what you think is best. if u decide not to smoke it try to sell it to gt some money back but i would go with your gut

My friends stepdad and his friend did a test. My friends stepdad would grow four plants using his own high quality compost while his friend would grow four plants using hydroponic rockwool. The hydroponic stuff had a significantly less skunky smell then the compost stuff.
