My friend had some great bud the other day, and he smoked me up with it. It was quite bright green, very strong in some places and less so in others, but definitely greener than the other bud I usually have. The best way to describe the taste would be "alpine" which isn't even a taste, but I mean to say it tastes roughly how those air fresheners smell. It was a pretty nice high, I laughed a lot and munched on some skittles.

When I asked, he said I could buy some for $75 an 8th, which sounded really steep to me, as for 120-140 I normally get 20-23 grams (although its not as nice).

I don't think he's trying to rip me off as I know him quite well, I'd assume that the price was really driven by the fact that he's far from the source. In any case, does this sound like a bad deal to you guys? I am not inclined to buy this because at that price I could get a half for the price of an 8th almost...
