| Me and my friends typically use "smoke up" as "John smoked me up" as in free weed for me, thanks John! I don't ever use "smoke out".

| In my area of Jersey smoking up is when someone goes to smoke weed. Like "we're gonna go in the backyard and smoke up." The term smoke out is rarely ever used but sometimes used when you're going to let your buddy smoke your weed for free like "don't worry I'll come to your house and smoke you out." But usually it's smoke up. |

| It's never "out" in Maryland. Smoke up can mean smoking your weed with someone, or just smoking with someone in general. Smoking out is never used.

| Around here Smoke Out means a large session with alot of gunja an people. "They are having a smoke out." Smoke up refers to the act of someone getting someone else high for free. "Oh you never got high before? Here Imma smoke you up." |
