I think weed will stay fresh as long as you dont :

Just keep it in the fridge in a zip lock bag or something. Make sure you get all the air out of the bag because if there moisture in there you will get mold. I think. ???¿¿¿???

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

I just finished off some weed i've had for a couple months. If you keep it for longer, It'll be really harsh (hurt ur lungs), but the THC content wouldn't drop very much. I suggest using a bong after having it for a long time-to make it less harsh. I store my weed in a film canister, and it works fine.

How big was that bud?
