|  rubbing alcohol for those of you who dont know how to pronounce it.... its ice-o pro pill alcohol sorry, i jkust got sick of people mispronouncing it

It's an alcohol, meaning that it has a hydroxyl group (OH). Its chemical formula C3H8O. H OH H | | | H-C-C--C-H | | | H H H (That was my best ASCII representation of it.) The 'propyl' part means that there are three C's, the 'iso' part means that the hydroxyl group (OH) is attached to the middle C instead of one of the end C's. I believe that the LD50 of isopropyl alcohol is around 100ml. Now, ethyl alcohol/ethanol/booze is C2H6O. (I love chemistry.) |
