We use the word Rollin' to mean that it looks like its cashed, but its still hitting.

But we also use it when it is cherrying.

as in:

"Is that cashed?"

"Naw man, its still rollin"

or while passing "s' rollin man"

In practice, I've never used that term. If the bowl is still lit, but you've taken your hit, you shove the pipe to whoever is next and hold it in. Maybe a few grunts if the guy isn't paying attention. There's almost a feeling of panic when the bowl is smoking and no one is sucking from the other end. Don't waste weed! Pass it quick.

When I smoke a joint I say 'lit' or 'still going.'

maybe they're confused over their pigments but they got their hearts in the right place. they come far above emos/greebos i.e anyone who listens to music which is depressing. maybe they're pretending to be black, but those ppl are looking for attention over pretending to be depressed.

It's lit if it's lit. It has a cherry if it's still lit. It's cashed if it's all gone. There may be some left if there might be some left.

For those were really don't use too many terms. Of course, there are exceptions for when you're high you say stuff that's sometimes out of the ordinary. For the most part however there's only so much and so many ways to describe a lit/cashed bowl.

well said. i can't stand people that spend their lives trying to be depressed. people who really are depressed spend much of their lives trying to overcome their depression.

anywho...

while smoking a lit j, i usually just blow smoke in the dumbass's face that isn't paying attention to the order/rotation. that gets the point across pretty well. everyone i hang out with knows when a j is lit though, so it's not too common. when the bowl is cherry i say it's cherry or roasting, when it's cashed i say "cash", "cash money", or "you're not gonna like this...", usually followed by a scramble for baggies
