A few friends of mine came up with this idea that my other tightly knit group of friends have accepted. Its smoking positions! It adds a little spice to the session. The person who is packing the bowl (their bud) gets the 1st position of "Sparks". Then one person on the right and another on the left call "Neighbs" which is second, who ever gets it dictates the rotation of the bowl. In odd circles of mass people you can call Sparks, Neighbs, Trips, Quads, Quints. Then it goes on into more obscure terms. I love it, its like a little competition of who can call Neighbs first to get the 2nd hit. Most of the time if one dude gets it alot, he gives it to the person who hasnt. Thats at least how it works with my friends.
Does anyone else do stuff like that?

yea me and my friends do something like that alot. the person who packs the bowl get automatic first hit. right when the bowl has been packed, who ever sez duse get 2nd and starts the direction. so if the person who sed duse was on the right, the direction of hits would go right, and v.v. u get wat im sayin? i think duse if a popular term. im not quite sure. ive heard of another thing to get a hit before packer but i forgot what it was. your idea is great and il hafta try it!

me and my friends dont really have a set way of smoking, but there are just a few things that we do the same every time. for joints, whoever rolls it gets first rip. whoevers bud it is gets second rip, then whoever has already packed up a bowl or is going to, gets third, and so on and so forth. for bowls, we just call "greens" which is first hit. normally goes to whoevers bud it is, mainly because packing a bowl isnt hard at all, and doesnt really gain the right to the first rip.

Well right when we sit down no matter who packs it or whos wed it is we jsut say first'ies or seconds or thirds. soem other terms we use is seatbacks when we get up we get our seat back becuase usally ther people sitting on the floor and the couch and everyone wants the couch. or if we are going to drive somewhere we say shotgun to get the shotgun seat, lol kinda kiddieish but it keeps us entertained, or if somene says blitz! then its whoever gets to the shotgun seat first. thats usally if we only have 1 car and a bunch of people.

Usually with my friends somebody calls green. I end up smoking with alot of inexperienced tokers alot so usually I end up with first hit just to show them how to use whatever piece is going around. Usually my main toker bud owes me money so I just remind him of that so he'll let me take green. Yeah, I guess that's fucked up, but whatever.

Honestly, depends on the group I'm with. If someone else packs the bowl with their own bud, they usually take greens. If someone packs someone else's bud, generally the bud-provider gets greens.
Unless I'm in a big group and will probably only get one hit each, I usually pass the bowl and let someone else take greens. If it's a big group, I'll spark it up first just make sure I actually get a hit out of it.
Changes every time...although most of my friend smoke, we tends to hang our own little groups we smoke with, so it just depends on who I'm with at the time. Thankfully the majority of my smoking friends are pretty generous, so we all share and match and pass greens alllllll the time, just because we all know that everyone else in the group would do the same.
My friends are bomb.
