I need some help here.

Hey guys, i have a question i need to ask you. I have used the search bar and couldn't find anything on it or i would not ask, so please excuss me. I know this guy who wants to sell me a dub of some killer stuff for $20.00. What my (stupid) question is, how much is in a dub? i am a very conservative smoker, i can make a 1/8th last two weeks, but i am not sure of how much is in this sack he wants to sell me. Any help i could get would be awesome.

Although it appears that the weight of a "dub" is in question. I have never used the term, so I can't help.

I always thought a dub was a dime bag, but I may very well be wrong. I never buy less than a 1/4, so I am not sure.

"Dub" is short for "double", which would indicate a "double dime", or twice the amount of a dime bag.
Usually a dime bag is about a gram or so, perhaps a little more. So I'd figure a "dub" would be roughly 2-2.5 grams, or enough for 3-4 joints, depending on how big your joints are.

If I'm way off, please tell me. I'm like VickiFL. I don't buy less than 1/4oz (7g) either.

For example, in rap, you can say "I'm rolling on dubs" (20 inch wheels)

Its kind of like dime, a generic term fopr the price of the bag, not the weight. So really it depends on whatever the dealer considers 20 bucks worth.

For me, its usually about 1.5-2 grams
