As your giggles slightly subside, your body enjoys a wave of calm stonedness, and your stomach begs for some snacks.
More About This Strain
Ace of Spades is an Indica-dominant hybrid whose lineage can be traced to Black Cherry Soda and Jack the Ripper. A well crafted hybrid, Ace of Spades will make you feel as if you are, well, holding an ace up your sleeve. Ace of Spades really is a trump card. Good for relieving stress, pain, and helping with some symptoms of depression. If you’re not an experienced grower, however, look for something else.
TGA Subcool Seeds mixed Black Cherry Soda, a strain of unknown origins, with Jack the Ripper, a Jack’s Cleaner and Space Queen concoction.
- There is a sweet and sour quality to Ace of Spades’ taste. Citrus, lemons, and berries float in among huskier, woodsy flavors. It’s like talking a walk along the Venice boardwalk – sex wax, head shops, fruit drinks and flowers.
- The scent is not overtly strong. It is like walking through a household goods aisle in a grocery store, where you are met with a variety of different scents, like those from fabric softeners, scented candles, and cleaning supplies. Slight floral aromas with hints of kush and musty pot mix together nicely.
- Unlike Lemmy, The Ace of Spades is pretty. The larger leaves are light green, that transition into darker hues as the leaves get smaller. The buds are purples and blues and deep dark tones. Everything is tied neatly together by yellow and orange pistils and hairs, with traces of pinks and magentas throughout. Almost makes you wish you didn’t have to smoke it. Almost.
- The buds are heavy and dense. They don’t have a ridiculous amount of resin production, but you’re going to want to use scissors.
