|  Passing out? Ok, this thread got me wondering -- http://www.marijuana.com/glossary-te...tml#post917921 -- How many of you have ever passed out from smoking weed? I'm not asking if you've ever gotten tired enough to sleep after smoking. I'm wondering how many of you have actually LOST CONCIOUSNESS from smoking weed. In the link I provided, theres no less than 3 people claiming this has happened to them to some degree, and it made me curious. In 14 years of getting high, its never happened to me, or to anyone I even know. Its not a side effect I've read about, and there seems to be no documentation of it being a common occurance. So, how many of you have "passed out" because of smoking weed? I'm not taking about spacing out or eventually falling asleep ater a long session...How many of you have lost conciousness after a hit?

| Happened to me twice, both instances occurred during an intense panic attack. They're by no means frequent, but I've had a handful. It's not like a knockout punch, first my hearing went, being replaced by a deafening ringing (I wouldn't be able to hear a jackhammer if you were standing next to me using one), then my vision became starry, then it was lights out for about 10 seconds (so my friends tell me). Strangely enough when I came to I didn't feel high, and all feelings of paranoia were long gone. It's like my brain decided for me that the only solution was a shut down and restart. |

| I have never, ever had anything happen to me resembling passing out from weed. Even at a young age. However its well known that it affects different people different ways. I have seen people freak out off of pot before and Ive seen people have little to no effect at all from it. Therefore I can certainly believe that some people have/do pass out from it, |

| The closest I've ever come to actually passing out was during a panic attack, one of only two I've had in my life. I could barely move, I felt like an elephant. Put my head down on a table for a good half hour until I felt like I could walk away.

| i haven't personally 'passed out' from marijuana, but i've been so high that i got dizzy to the point of actually vomiting, and i'm surprised that i didn't pass out. i was a lightweight and smoked a big joint of middies to my head. that wasn't the first time i got really dizzy after getting really high, though. i'd also like to make clear that alcohol was not involved.

| Oh god perfect timing. Last night i put my new bong to a test, outside on my neighbors back porch with them, its a 4 foot long 1" wide PVC pipe, and a bowl on one side, one guy lights it the other hits, when its full of smoke the guy takes his hand off and you clear it. I was hitting the bong and he took his hand off, i cleared it and things got kinda blurry. 2 minutes later i woke up on the concrete with a big gash in my forehead, and i was sooooooo damn stoned it was unreal. was pretty funny and got a scar to prove it now :P |

| Never done it nor have I seen it happen. There probably should be a third option on the poll... I would bet that it has more to do with external factors than the quality of weed (holding in your hit too long, standing up with a hit still in your lungs, panic attack etc etc).
