Has the economy effected how much you smoke?

Because of all the money problems now, has this effected how much you smoke? For example can you not buy as much weed as you normally could because you now have to buy food,gas,etc.?
Just curiosity

It hasn't affected me personally but yes, the economy has affected every aspect of the market and many, i'd say all the businesses of the USA and many parts of the world. It's also supposed to get worst. I think that weed isn't that important(there is more important things). I'll be good as long as I have food on the table and a roof on top of my head.

Not for me but I learned a few years ago how to manage my smoking. So unless I loose my job "know on wood" then I have nothing really to fear.

My husband lost his job from the beginning of August to the end of September, last year. Fortunately, we have a savings to fall back on, so I didn't have to change my toking habits. He's working again now, so things are a lot better than they were.

I feel badly for anyone who is suffering in this bad economy.

thanks to the slowing economy, i have had to start my own grow room. in a couple of months, if all goes well, i will have a supply for my own use and tto hell with all those ripoff artists who are now making such a killing selling. to bad the gov't doesn't catch on the the 'value' of making it legal.

Weed prices are affected a lot more by availability (supply and demand) than the state of the overall economy. Of course losing your job due to the economy can affect your weed budget big time, and if the prices of essential items go up... Since I consider weed 'an essential', I'm likely to cut back or eliminate other, less essential purchases, like food.

In that case, you might be really screwed if you got had the munchies really bad.

I do agree, though. Marijuana is an essential for me since I use it for medicine, and I have also eliminated other "not so essential" things so I could still have it. It's all about priorities.
