When you're really stoned, do you find yourself getting muddled between your first language and your other language(s)? I speak French, and I often find myself thinking in French rather than English after a good session... Just last night someone called me while I was smoking, and I had to hand the phone to someone else because I kept starting my sentences in French, which was frustrating.

This happen to anyone else?

omg it does!! im learning german now and i have an amazing teacher so im learning a lot, so like when im high ill just say the most random shit under my breath or in my head... its weird.
ive heard other people doing the same thing too, its super weird.

That's crazy. Never happened to me but that's because I only know about half of my second language. I wish that I could internalize it enough... sometimes I'll use a french saying but I won't be thinking in french.

No but i hope after i learn french in university that it happens to me. Seems pretty cool

You'd think it's cool, yeah, but when no one else around you speaks the language it gets frustrating. And after a while you can physically feel all the words crowding around behind your lips... it gets uncomfortable.

ugh man i know, i always feel like im annoying my friends b.c i accidentally leak german words into my english convos all the time. and i have a lot of jewish friends.. so sometimes it can be awkward.
its hard to fight the urge..

I throw around Spanish and French phrases all the time anyway (Je ne sais pas, que pasa, etc...) so I don't think I would notice a difference.

But I am more likely to revert to sign language high.

I'm trying to learn Italian right now, hard to stay dedicated to it though. Hopefully, when I have more free time I'll be able to really learn it. Never had that happen to me while I'm high though, probably because I'm just at the beginning stages of learning.

However though, when I'm stoned my stuttering becomes much worse, and I don't talk to anyone [which is why I usually blaze by myself].

i guess when u use more than one language and get high you might start flirting around with those idioms....
