i have 2 piercings in each lobe (so 4 in my lobes, the second ones are probaby 18g or 20g) although my bottom lobe piercings are 14g, and i wear jewelry that makes it look like they are pierced through my ear as well (imagine hoops, except "upside down" or flipped up... where they would go through the inside of your ear and out the other side), one cartilage left ear (16g i think), one right on that dimple where the lobe and cartilage meet on my right ear (16g i think), left nipple (circular barbell with a green ball and a spike on the other side, left side of my lip..... both 14g

Also, what would you say about a lip piercing? Was it painful at all, other than the usual "pinch" from a piercing?

I'm DEFINITELY not iloveunot, but I can tell you that a labret piercing hurts no more than an eyebrow ring or a ear piercing done with a straight needle as opposed to a gun. I've contemplated getting mine pierced, but I haven't yet because I have a tongue ring and I have a bad feeling the two will get tangled up and hurt like hell.

The only piercings you have to worry about serious pain with are body piercings (dimples of the cheek, back, chest, etc.), nipple piercings, and genital piercings.

I had a labret, both ears, my lip, right nipple and septum pierced (septum 2x)
None of 'em hurt except when tha nipple got infected and tha septum. THAT is a painful piercing. you brace for it and nothing helps...it just waters your eyes right up and that shock is what it's all about, releasing enough chemicals in your brain that it's almost a high in and of itself, which is what I loved about getting piercings.

Removed all of them for my new "corporate" image i.e. to get a fucking job

and for tha record, chicks with facial piercings (within reason) are so smoking hot that it boggles tha mind and has made me stutter and stammer on more than one occasion.

so i meant like where the end of the cartilage meets the outside of the lobe... in that little dimple there

my lip didnt hurt having it done, but i didnt have a nice smile while it was healing bc it was sore and i wasnt used to it kind of moving against my teeth when i moved my lips... my smile was like a grimace...
my nipple didnt hurt when it was actually pierced either, i kind of had a high from the adrenaline rush, but it hurt like a bitch as it was healing...

I'll definitely be getting more piercings in the future because i love them!

I've known a couple people that gauged their piercings and go on to get professional jobs or have kids that took their piercings out, and years later one person's looks light a slightly larger pierce hole and the other person's looks like it's still stretched out pretty well. It really depends on the elasticity of your skin.
