Default Advice on how to spend time on a weed-break

So after reading many of the threads on here, I've decided to take a tolerance break for about a week or so.

Honestly, smoking up is a big part of my life. It's part of the ritual for a lot of the things I do... recording music, reading books, having friends over. My first inclination is to spark a bowl.

So I'm curious, how do you guys cope with that energy? Any advice?

I work to pass the time... If im bored why not make money. If thats not an option I also will play music (without baking first of course), make love to the gf, read, play a video game, go for a run. I find the thing that helps me the most is to surround myself with someone who doesnt need to get high in order to have fun. Or someone who doesn't smoke at all. I have lots of friends that don't smoke marijuana and when I hangout with them I seem to forget about it.

Wow, I also would find it hard.
What worked for me in the past is, set a date (goal) and before you meet it set a laiter one. Soon you wont have cravings and dont mind not having a puff.

I find I get a "jangly-" feeling when I take a break, but exercise & chamomile tea help.

Read, meditate, take your dog for a long walk in the woods, clean your house, organize your library, wash your car, make a big pot of stew. These are also great things to do when you're not taking a break.

I'm currently taking a break too - I stopped two days ago, I think the hardest part is getting to sleep at night, because I used to only toke up a few hours before I went to bed... However, one of my doctor friends prescribed me with some valium- so it's not that much of a problem anymore..

I'm going to start hitting the gym more often, been slacking off for about two months. Oh and long walks are always entertaining, espectially if you're walking around a place you've never been before.
