|  Heart Issues/Attacks So I've read several places online that smoking marijuana increases ones chance of heart attacks. Within the first hour of marijuana usage a persons chances of having a heart attack is about 4 times higher than normal due to the fact that it increases blood pressure and the heart rate. After the first hour the risk drops to a very small one. Also when a person is reclined or sitting down the heart rate speeds up and when a person is standing the heart rate drops. So i just wanted to know from everyone, have you guys ever experienced some heart/chest pains or any symptoms that you feel might lead to a heart attack when using marijuana? I ask because i myself have not yet used weed...yet. Thanks. All help is appreciated |
