It has been estimated that of there are conservatively 18 million Americans who like to get high , and of that number less than 1% of these ppl will actually join,participate, or become active in a Marijuana legalization movement in an progressive way. Even less people will sign a petition, go to a ralley, or even logon to a website such as NORML. And, the NORML leaders always said that it is the "inactivity by KNOWLEDGEABLE cannabis users" is the Main factor that is keeping possession of very small amounts of cannabis a crime. Yet, quite paradoxically, these same "knowledgeable users" will scream for legalization/decriminalization of MJ use/possession. So, what is holding you back Mr. Ms. Bud BLazer from becoming active?
For myself I must admit that I have attended ralleys at local cannabis conferences at Four Seasons Park but I--like the hundreds of other ppl who were there-- wore shades and a ball cap. There were even many people there who wore those fake Groucho Marx masks and Smiling Jekyll mask (like the one inthat movie--rem'ber?). I attended but I did not want to be recognized. So, I hope that my mere attendance counted for something positive at least. What's holding you back? Is it a fear of being recognized? A fear of losing your job? A fear of being called out?
