What do people here do to celebrate 4/20?

I'm forcing myself to not smoke for a few days. Ideally I'd take an entire month off to totally cleanse my herb palate in prep for 4/20, but I end up refraining from partaking for less than a week prior to the big day. This year I'm taking not quite 6 days off prior to 4/20 in order to lower my tolerance a smidgen. I'm at the point where I can smoke 2 grams and feel virtually nothing. A weak high at best, even with good shit. Not all the time. Sometimes I do get baked, but it has to be DAAAAANK stuff.

I'm gonna be smoking somewhere between 4 to 6 grams on 4/20. Not a shit ton, but a fair amount.

I digress... Does anybody else do anything in preparation for 4/20? any rituals on the day of? Does anybody here hate the fact that 4/20 has been homogenized and thus celebrates on 4/21 like many people I know have started doing.

On 420 and the days/weeks leading up to it, I do the same thing I do every other day...

havent smoked since last wednesday when i got a new bong from a friend, will be testing the bong further on 4/20 lol

Yeah, I didn't really last. I'm probably cutting back next year because I will be busy as fuck, so hopefully it will be easier to not smoke for an entire month leading up to 4/20. I caved last night and smoked a couple of 5 bowls about 2 hours apart.

i never prepare lol. i smoke daily, 420 is really just another day. but it's fun cuz it gives us a reason to get together. this year we're having a cook out, with lots of buds, beer and friends. it should be great

I don't really do any preparing besides gathering up numerous nugs of weed to smoke. But I will wake up, vaporize, roll a J but save it...then go moutain biking and smoke it on a rest break and enjoy the wild life hah. Then after that, shower and and get ready for the day hah which is just smoke at different people's houses.
