I need some advice on staying grounded while high.

I always make an effort to keep my tolerance relatively low, so I can get higher and from less. Yet I always have the same problem, I end up zoning out (almost dramatically) and generally acting like a complete dumbass.

I can tell sometimes that I'm embarrassing my friends when this happens and I really need help stopping.

Also, if I were to end up in the presence of a police officer (bound to happen eventually) I feel I'd still act like a total dipshit.

weird, i always thought people acted like that on purpose for a laugh. you really can't control it? i guess all you can do is smoke less until you are used to it. but i guess that defeats the purpose of keeping your tolerance low. *shrugs* i don't know. and trust me, seeing a police office is a very sobering experience, aka a buzz kill!

Try this out: when you get high--do it by yourself so that way you won't have to be under the influence of other people.
Also, if you are in a social group getting high---then try to just listen and don't talk too much. If someone asks you your opinion about something---to keep from coming off as being "anti social'' try talking about the current news events and only offering moderate opinions--don't try to be too dramatic or else you'wll wind up making a fool out of yourself.

I smoke with a couple people who have the same problem, and like decline said, if your ever in front of a cop you'll sober right up.

Other then that you just need to smoke more often until you can control yourself, same with any drug.
