I was wondering who uses a crutch for their joints? I am not sure if there is other slang for it. I like using it so I don't deal with burnin my lips when it gets to a roach size.

Its looks like a hollow filter, I use the magazine subscription cards. I tear off a lil rectangle n roll it up n then stick in my joint before closing it up. Doesn't make my fingertips too smelly either.

I do the same. Pretty much exclusively use those magazine cards since we get magazines every month, we have plenty of them.

I almost never roll with out one ( i roll multiple times daily too). Only time i don't use one if im just rolling up a very thin small joint that im just gonna smoke myself.

I never use them unless there isn't enough weed in the joint, then I just roll up some card paper and put it in to fill up the joint. I always just roach it once it starts to burn my fingers, it isn't worth it to put one of those things in every joint I roll. I like to save the roaches anyway, they're good for wake&bake...

I've heard it is a lot more common to do that in Europe than it is in North America.

I always like to use a crutch. I buy this tiny book type thing, put its just crutches that rip out of it and you roll it up. Heres an example, look at the 'filter pack' http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/7...rutchesvz1.jpg.

Nah, I don't use 'em. I remember my friend did once and it was weird. We just smoke it till it's a roach and toss it unless somebody keeps roaches.

I've never liked them. I think it's easier to use a roach clip and smoke the joint down to about a quarter inch. By then it's mostly tar and other nasty crap, so I toss it.
