can factors such as weight, height, fitness level,etc alter the effects of smoking?

sorry if this thread has already been posted. new to the site. a mod can delete if it has.

okay, well i am the type of person that has grown up around people who smoke weed all my life, and i have personally saw them while high, and i came to the conclusion that it doesn't seem as bad as the media and such want you to believe, but i never had the urge to try it. my good friend would always ask if i wanted to smoke with him at lunch, before school, or after school, and i would always be like nah im okay, but that didn't affect our friendship. we both respected each other's wishes lol. anyways im older now, and ready to make my own opinion on weed, and the only way to do so, is to give it a try. does things like weight, fitness level, height, etc affect how one experiences weed sort of like how those factors can play a role in how alcohol affects a person? i ask, because im the type of person where if something is buggin me, i will try my best to settle the situation and kill the curiosity once and for all if its reasonable, and for about the past two years or so, i have been thinking about smoking for my first time, so i figure i should get it out of the way, and kill the curiosity once and for all. thanks for any help, and if you need me to list my specs(weight, height,) just let me know.

No your physical specs dont really affect whether you get high or not. It's mainly about the potency of the weed, the amount, and how your smoking it thats going to determine your high.

I'm pretty sure weight does play a role in how high you get. I have a friend who is 6'8 and around 350lbs. and it takes him 2 blunts to catch a buzz (same with beer, 8 40's and he's drunk) while it takes me 5 hits and I'm high at 6'1 175lbs.
