Not sure if this should be in the Places and People section or this one but my uncle is a straightforward joint smoker and he taught me something I never knew. When you're done with a joint, just put it in a ashtray and it will eventually go out. He said if you attempt to put it out like a cigarette, weed will fall out which makes perfect sense. I'm not sure if I'm the only one amazed by not ever realizing such a common sense move.

I dont know... the last time i tried that the joint just kept burning till there was barely nothing left.

how did your joint keep burning?...unless there was a very high portion of tobacco compared to weed then maybe it will keep burning...but most of the joints iv ever smoke will allways go out in a like 20 seconds if you don't keep it going

If the weed is really sticky it's usually greasy enough to go out by the time it's a roach. If not, you might have to put it out yourself. I usually just put it in my tin and close the lid, as long as there isn't anything flammable in there it goes out in a few seconds.

Thats why I vary the drying time for weed. If its for joints i keep it a little damp or if its a little drier I'll wrap the joints tighter. They'll go out by themselves. If its a bong a let it dry more so you can really get them big hits. Honey oil and joints don't work to good because you end up with a flame thrower.lol
