there is a tobacco shop around here that is only opened up one day out of the week, and i plan on going in there and buying a pipe this week. never smoked before, but i have papers at my house, and will have pipe in a few days. which do you think is the best method for noob?

there is no reason why, its pretty easy to hit a bowl and will save you money over the long run, go for it!

I learnt to smoke rolling joints and I would always advise learning to be able to roll a joint but a pipe will work fine and is probably easier to use.

I'd go for a pipe. I've smoked joints since the beginning, but its definitely easier to pack a bowl than it is to roll a joint, assuming your friends don't help you roll or pack.

When i first smoked i used a pipe but joints or bowls are just as good as long as u get high i say.

IMO best to just order glass or go to a headshop where they sell glass.

Bowls are nice because you just load and go, joints on the other hand require rolling and until you get good at it it won't be great, though you have to practice to learn.

Bowls also waste less weed as most of the smoke is going into your lungs if you do it right, unlike a j where you lose a lot of smoke through burning it.

I have also found pipes to be less harsh then jays because you don't have the paper smoke, and overall taste with a bowl is better too imo.
