Hey guys, new to this board and weed in general. I have quite a few questions that I'd like you guys to answer.

A few days ago I stole some weed from my parents basement (joint, please do not recommend I make my own bong, I'm fine with what I got) and have a few questions/comments:
-Does it matter which side you light?
-How many hits should I take?
-How long will it take for the weed to not be physically noticeable (red eyes, smell, etc)
-I heard if you blow the smoke up it won't get stuck on your clothes, is this true?
-I will most likely light up in the woods.

-Does it matter which side you light? Light the end that looks a little fatter if there is one...like if its rolled like baseball bat the light it at the fatter end.

-How many hits should I take? Depends, some people say start with one or two hits but I say 3 or 4, wait maybe 5 minutes then continue to take hits til you feel where you're want to be. DON'T CIGGARETTE IT THO! Controlled, smooth hits, that are then held for 5-7 seconds and exhaled smoothly.

-How long will it take for the weed to not be physically noticeable (red eyes, smell, etc) Redness in eyes probably wont be much of a problem if you're only smoking such a small amount so just do the whole 'I'm just tired," and keep rubbing you eyes if you think it looks bad but should be cleared either way by 4-5 hours.<but like i said having any kind of decent cover usually works as long as you don't get defensive>
Smell? 10-15 minutes outdooes, little longer indoors but a quick shot of axe, or anything pungent smelling will cover it up...the smell is usually faint unless its smokey in the air.

- I heard if you blow the smoke up it won't get stuck on your clothes, is this true? Sorta of....if you are in a small space? No it does nothing. If you are outdoors or say near a vent in a bathroom a carefully slowed exhale can vitually eliminate other's ability to pick up on it.....just don't cough into your clothes.

-Yes this is usually safe. Reccomendaion? Don't list the most secure place you plan on doing it last where none of your prior concerns are a big botherl Ah well at least you've got some helpful insights indoor getting away with it indoors.

Oh oh oh now can't not. Ultimate solution: Cardboard for toilet paper roll, dryeer sheets, possibly a rubber band to hold dry sheets in place. Cap end of tube with dryer sheets, exhale through other side---hits smell like fresh laundry. BAM! PA-ZOW!

for a beggine, no, however if your experienced, light the side that looks thicker first

it depends on yur tollerence, but 3+ hits should be plenty

smell would be noticable imidiatly, red eyes in about 10-15 min

completely false, the smoke will dispurse evenly no matter wear you blow it, and some will end up on you clothes.
-I will most likely light up in the woods.

Disregard what hazanko said. Stay in those woods as long as you possibly can. Appreciate nature, and it will appreciate you back. The walk back is nothing to worry about, if fact it may be the best part. With 1/4 your brain devoted to acting straight, you will be having a grand time.
If it were me, I would smoke the whole thing. With a joint you pretty much are guaranteed to get stoned even if you smoke incorrectly. You may be afraid of freaking out or getting noticed, but just chill and go with the flow. Under any stress you will find you execute everything quite perfectly and nobody can notice.

Thanks for the advice! My only real fear is getting home safe. I'm not sure how hard it is to cross the road when high.

Easier than normal. Unless you want to be or are around the wrong people (sounds like you are alone?), you aren't going to act particularly stupid. Do what you always do, look both ways and cross. If you are feeling too out of it to return to civilization, just hang out in the woods for a while until you figure out what it means to be stoned.

haha do what he said. but honestly enjoy nature, its what we live in and theres so much to it. if youre smoking outside you wont smell, maybe your fingers from burnin the j but thats it. your eyes will only get red if you cough a lot, which you probably will but take long, controlled pulls. dont freak out because i can smoke a bowl up in my room, take a drink, and walk down to my living room with my parents... they never know. it really doesnt smell.
