in a few months i will be visiting some family in cali. of course when i go there i want to get some good stuff. the thing im worried about is that my family out there is really square to my knowledge, so i doubt they would want me smoking at their house, and probably couldn't tell me a reliable source to go get some. either way, im old enough to walk around without supervision(lol), so while im there i'll probably find something if i look hard enough. my question is, since cali seems like the only place in america thats socially accepting of stoners, are the police there equally as open to stoners? like if i was to say be smoking in a park, but away from children, and a cop rolls up on me, would that cop(generally speaking) be a douche or give me a warning and just take the weed away? all my life i've heard good stuff about cali, and when a family member went, he said he was walking behind a restaurant and saw a chef in his chef hat and apron chilling out back smoking out of a big ass bong(like 2 feet tall), so i figured if a chef feels comfortable enough to go out back where people can see him and possibly snitch on him, that the laws must be a little relaxed.
