Who's your favorite Beatle?a If I had to pick one, I'd say John Lennon. That being said, if you take any of them out, they won't be the Beatles anymore.

Lennon. But i heard he was a total asshole in real life from my friend who said he read a book about him.

A total asshole? Now that's a stretch.

First of all, nobody's perfect, and who's to say that if Lennon had been a total 'Mr. nice guy' that a lot of his genius song writing might have been missing along with his insecurities, jealousy, and other personality faults.

Secondly, if you're writing a bio on a famous person, it pays to come out with controversial stuff. Digging up dirt sells books. Painting Lennon in an unfavorable light makes more $.

Lennon promoted peace and love. Let's remember him for that.

You're right. Total was a stretch to say about somebody, just pointing out what people have said.
