| I was thinking about this tonight. Why does bad weed typically leave you feeling "burnt out". Headache, tired, etc., while better weed generally leaves you feeling fine? Obviously better weed has more potency. Thats means intaking more of the drug (or atleast the THC) gives you less negative side effects then less. Its weird if you compare it to alcohol. It would be as if drinking less would give you a worse hangover. Why is this? Theories? Facts? Discuss.

| I can imagine the higher the potency, the better of a medical treatment it is. If it gains treatment strength, surely it can cure a simple headache. Perhaps we still get headaches with high-quality bud, but the heightened healing properties make us feel pain free. Ever smoke any medical MJ? If so, did you ever get headaches or tiredness with it? I know I haven't. Theres some food for thought.

| Tiredness (not headaches) is greatly influenced by the strain you smoke. You are more likely to get that "burned out" feeling after smoking an Indica strain. I.E. Purple Kush | |

| Its partly due to the fact that the proper care isnt provided to bring the best out of a marijuana bud. One can poorly or overly disperse fertilizers/pesticides which can affect the plant. Cutting corners when Curing is also a huge factor in quality within the end product you are consuming. If both of these are present, what can happen when you over use growing product, there could be a higher percentage of fertilizers/pesticides (chemicals) IN the growing plant. Curing is meant to extract some of these grow aids from the freshly cut plants. More chemicals left in the bud equals more toxins your body that must be discarded. i.e. carcinogens | |

| In my experience I've been more burnt out by bad bud .. I feel as if I function perfectly fine smoking exotics and dank, but brick/shwag/regs/midis give me a major sometimes minor headaches and i feel more exhausted than ever.

| It's very simple. You have to smoke a lot more low-potency bud to get the same effect as a little bit of high-potency bud. That's putting a lot more toxic crap into your system and it makes you feel lousy. It's the nasty byproducts of incomplete combustion that do a job on you. That's why I rarely smoke anymore. Vapes are the way to go!

| the way i see it is when you grow a good bud and smoke it its like a fresh cut of meat, but if the cow is undernourished or the meat isnt cured right it can hurt you. just like low quality weed |
