| Earlier this week I paid a kid $50 for what was supposed to be a quarter but turned out to be about an eighth ($50 a quarter and $30 an eighth are average prices here). I don't want to get ripped off like that again, but I'm also aware that come autumn, there will be a serious dry period between the depletion of this year's supply and the arrival of next year's crop. I don't have any other connections until that time. I'm also on a weed break until later this summer, and I usually smoke only a little bowl at a time - a gram lasts me most of a week. I have about a quarter in total right now (the eighth the kid sold me and 1/2 a quarter saved from last spring). Should I buy skimp bags from this kid and avoid the annual dry spell, or save my money and hope for a better connection when the supply is replenished later in the fall? I have until next week (when he calls me again) to decide. |
