This poll is for people who smoked pot during school. I mean outside of school and whatnot.

Did your grades drop when you started smoking pot? Or did they go up?

my grades went down. but it wasn't because of weed totally. that only contributed maybe 5%. so it was a coincidence that i smoked more pot during the time that i was failing in school.

Oddly since I started getting high this week my grade in physics increased dramatically(20%); From an F to a C. Probally would have happened anyways but still an intresting coincedence.

My grades when down alot before I smoked weed. Right before. About a month or two before.

I just know my parents would kick that in my face if they found out. They'd say it happened after. I know better.

I worked my ass of since then. And still, my grades are like a feather holding a brick. Barely stable, but failing nonetheless

I started smoking weed regularly a couple months into my grade 10 year. In grade 11 I smoked a lot less but still about once a week or so. My grade 9 Average was 60, my grade 10 average was 60 and my grade 11 average is 75.

So I don't think that smoking weed makes your marks go down, but if you smoke a lot and decide not to do work then obviously they will go down. It all depends on how you work

I'm a late toker -- didn't try it until I was 21.. I have been smoking ever since.

I am glad I did not start it earlier, my grades in school " MARIJUANA / TOBACCO / ALCOHOL / EVERYTHING FREE " were TERRIBLE.. I am not stupid.. I just have no interest in learning things I do not consider interesting, I'm a right-brained person who enjoys art and music.. I was very ANTI drugs when my grades were BAD.. I was the total slacker, don't-care, don't give a **** about high-school kid.. and that was before weed.

Right now I am just trying to make enough money to live in SOCAL (easier said/than done) and let the herb be my life's little 'topping'.

And im usually doing really crap at all the rest like maths PE(which i havnt showed up for in ages) and french

i only try at school cause if i dont, my parents would let me do nothing at all with my friends ever. i guess the main reason for this is my parents... i see them, and all their money, adn their big house, and their snobby ways, and i decide i DONT want to EVER grow up to be a snobby old white man who tells everyone what to do or he'll fire them.

i told my parents that when they asked again and again hwy my grades were so low... their low because then i have more free time to have fun. and plus, id much rather live in a realy small cottage out in the woods than in a huge mansion.

oh, and my grades arent THAT bad. mostly B's, few C's, one or 2 D's, and one or so A's.
