I guess that I'm more mellow when I'm stoned. But if I'm with friends I might jerk around like I always do, and they'll start laughing which will cause me to laugh. I don't generally act stupid as in flailing and being a moron, but I can try to be serious and I'll just ramble on. I can start going off about one thing, and what seems like an hour later I'll be talking about something completely different.

A couple of members on these forums know what I'm talking about...

Overall this has been a fairly decent thread. People just sharing how they act stupid while high.

Now see, I have this problem with the poor choice you made to use the word "retard" in reference to acting foolish.

You are using this term to liken yourself to someone whom is mentally retarded (MR). Human beings are Mentally Retarded. Some more severely than others. You have no way of knowing if anyone reading here may have a child who is MR or something of the sort.

I don't have a child that is MR however I work in a school with several MR students. I am offended and prefer that people choose better words to articulate what they want to say.

The last thread I read referred to "people acting gay" when what the person really meant was acting like a dork, a dweeb, a lamer.

Certainly the mature teenage smokers around here can think of a better, more intelligent, more mature word to use
besides "retard" when what you really mean is dumbass.

If I wanted to hear or read this kind of garbage talk I'd hang out at the dike with kids smoking the weed they brought to school.

only some kinds of weed will make me all giggly, and that's pretty rare. anyways, no matter what type of weed, if i'm with my one friend who's a newbie, and always laughs alot, i'll start laughing too and be just as stonerish as him, probably just because his being like that triggers me to do the same.

but other than those two things, 99% of the time i'm real calm when i smoke.

my brother has Downsyndrome (he is mentally retarded) and noone in my family really cares if someone says retarded. All my friends are used to saying everything is gay and retarded. Its just because most people dont have to live with it, you cant blame them.

I wish people could become more easy going about the terms people use. I know a boy who has severe brain damage quite well, and one of my best friends is a lesbian, but i still don't care if people use the word retarded or gay. I can understand the objection though, as it might make light of a serious situation. I just wish enough people were properly aware of things like retardation or whatever that the word could be used without people taking it the wrong way.

Anyway, i don't usually act stupid when i'm stoned, i'm really quiet too, but sometimes i do. When i'm on my own outside, cos sometimes i just like go for a walk and smoke a joint, then while i'm walking along i'll do random stuff, like i dance too, its fun, and i talk to myself, once i even just stood on the road and span in circles for a few minutes. But if i'm with people i'm pretty much normal.
