While I like a beautiful glass bong, a curvaceous sherlock, and a phat blunt, and I love a lung-busting, make-your-eyes-water, drool-causing gravity bong hit, to me there is nothing quite like a finely rolled joint. With a J you don't have to worry about the head count until it hits double digits. They're portable, and when you're done there's no incriminating evidence that you'd need to keep around with you, unlike carrying a pipe. Also, I think that socially, these are the most conducive to conversation. Something about the passing and circular formation that usually appears keeps everyone solidified into a group. When I'm smoking a bong it's more of an indoor thing, people just lounging on couches or whatnot. There's not that circle, that wall of faces that seperates you from everything else. Plus, they're damn fun to roll, and to see everyone's eyes light up when you pull out a nice cone shaped spliff at a party you'd think you were a clown at a little kid's birthday party doing magic tricks.

Some of these things apply to other methods as well, but I think they are most apparent in joint smoking. So, what's your favorite way to get high?
