is there any diff between medicinal marijuana and the recreational ones/?

im pretty sure it's all the same stuff..

cept the medicinal marijuana is probley the one that gives you the more relaxed body stone.. i forgot if that's indica or sativa..

anyway i think they just give you like a specific strain instead of some bullshit stuff on the streets.

no....medical marijuana clinics simply provide "legal" marijuana for patients with Dr recommendations. Simply being "medical" weed means nothing....you'll know more about the weed's strain and whatnot, but it is no different than the marijuana you get illegally

no, different, but in my experience is about 10x better than the other stuff i get, but it really depends on the strain!!!

the basic thing iv always heard is that it is better then the stuff u can get from your local dealer it makes sense because they have professionals growing it with actual strands and they know how to care for those spicific strands so it just makes sense

Actually, "Medical Marijuana" locations are not clinics.

They do not provide "legal" marijuana. Marijuana is illegal in all 50 states because it is illegal under Federal (National) Law.

These locations provide places where individuals who are using cannabis for treatment of medical conditions can purchase properly dried and cured cannabis outside of the blackmarket.


Normally the strains of cannabis provided at these locations have higher THC levels than street grade marijuana therefore, less cannabis is necessary for delivery of medicinal cannabinoids to the patient without unneccessary amounts of plant matter combustion (smoke) and the highest level of use in a vaporizer.

Cannabis that is prepared as medical grade cannabis is very carefully dried and cured to limit the level of mold and fungi growth.

This is especially important as many patients who use cannabis have compromised immune systems and molds and fungi spores (sporocytes) are lung irritants which can lead to serious lung compromise and irritation, bronchitis and the possibility of pneumonia.

It is therefore different from the marijuana normally purchased illegally from the blackmarket on a fundemental basis -- potency and purity.

As a marijuana cultivator, i know that if grown and cured properly, almost all marijuana strains can be very potent. Although some strains give you different type of highs (indica being more of a couchlock/body high, while sativa being a cerebral high) medicinal strains are no more potent than street-grade strains. Usually indica dominant strains are prescribed as medicinal.

But what you get on the street is never a constant. Most of the time it is dried and cured improperly, and handled far too much. That is the main reason street grade marijuana can be very low grade.

Different strains of cannabis are prescribed for various properites, with the Sativa strains prescribed in late harvest stage for the making of rubs and ointment for the treatment of rheumatic and arthrititc conditions as they would be highest in cannabinoidds that have analgesic propensities for those ailments.

It is also often grown outdoors under less than optimal hydroponic or indoor-gardening conditions. Allowed to dry in damp conditions that create mold, and compressed, reducing trichomes of THC lowering it's strengths.

Yup ...other than quality, strength and sanitation -- street and medical grade -- absolutely identical
