Grinded Up Vs. Big Nugs

So me and my friend were having a debate over which is better. I personally like bud that's grinded up nicely so the crystals can be more exposed. My friend says you can get higher if you smoke nugs at a time. What do you think?

Ground up = more surface area exposed = bigger hits = better high.

When you just plop a nug into a bowl you pretty much have to torch the outside to get any smoke at all, then when the nug is almost completely black on the outside, you have to break it up any ways to get more hits on the completely green inside.

i have never understood not grinding up, or at least breaking up, your weed. it burns so much better ground up.

Buying weed in nugs is great becuase i love to just look at them, But def when you smoke that shit you gotta break it up at least
