Hey, I am a new member, which is why I am lame, and why I am making a thread about it... Amazing I know.... I was wondering if you guys ever felt, that smoking weed, was worthless, that you were being owned by your possession of it. I do smoke alot, but I just dont see the point anymore, It hasnt helped me, but it hasnt hurt me either. So what is there to do? It's like all I do is smoke, and I know that, that is true, I smoke everyday, and it just seems like it is a waste of my time and of my money, which there is very little of. So, does anyone have any advice?

Everyone is different, personally smoking is my way of unwinding or just gaining some kind of refreshing perspective. Not too sure how being a new member makes you lame, but if you feel that weed is a consuming presence in your life you should probably kick the habit or take a break for a few weeks to gain some perspective/lower your tolerance. Sometimes though weed just isn't for some people, I'm sure you'll figure out what's best for you.

If you like smoking, then why stop? Surely you could cut down some, as its never too good to continuously smoke IMO, but don't view it as a bad thing. Perhaps part of teh reason you are viewing it as a burden is because the general public views it as a burden?
Don't think too much of it, I'm sure within time you'll be able to balance your life and smoking pot equally as you get older .

By the way, your screenname "Deathbylife" reminds me of a part in The Fountain. Have you ever seen this movie? Is this where you got it from? Please explain the reason behind ur sn if there is one

Another reason weed isnt pointless is all of the health affects. MJ helps some incurable diseases, and might then be a preventative measure. You are also supporting the secuirity of a great plant that the world generally wants to get rid of. Not to mention the feeling of getting off your ass stoned.

Ya gotta deal with life. At your age there can be a lot to deal with. If you can't do moderation then you might wanna lay off. And like you say, it can be a pretty expensive habit. Is that where you want all your money to go? Like Lit Match said, if it's comsuming your life (and it sounds like it is), take a break.

It sounds to me like you answered your own question. If you don't like it ,STOP! It's too expensive if your not into it. What seems pointless to me is the question. I don't mean to be rude but read your own post, your answer is right there.
Another thing, I just checked your profile and I see your 16 years old. Wait till your out of school and have a job and the stress that comes with living in the real world then give it another try and let us know if it's still pointless.
