| Here is an interesting topic, that it seems everyone has a different view on and I think it'd be nice to come to a conclusion so people could be "safe." How long do you guys believe that the smell of weed, where it is rather apparant will stay in a room, w/ out the windows open, or w/ the windows open. Another one, even though I don't do it to often, but a lot of people do, but how long do you think that the smell of weed lasts when driving around. As in, after you smoke, how much time do you have to "spare" before getting pulled over and it not smelling like weed. Windows open obviously. |

| There are a lot of variables to this, things like how many windows are open and how big they are, how much air flow is in the room/vehicle, how skunky the weed is, etc. I would say no windows open in a room that is moderately ventilated would be smelling for at least an hour to an hour and a half after being smoked in. A car with the windows up, or hot boxing, which is a bad idea in the first place, will probably smell for hours sometimes even overnight. Just buy some ozium. ![]()

| Toking in a car increases your chances of being caught, a lot. Any potential public exposure is not a good thing. Unless, you are toking in your parked car, in your own driveway, and not planning on going anywhere after. There are a lot of variables, even with room smell. Is smoke being blown out the window? That helps a lot. There were times I came home to see my parents, after I had moved out, but I would never, ever toke in my old room. First, and foremost, respect. It is their home, not mine. Second, my Mother would probably be able to smell it for days.

| Hotboxing in a car is a stupid idea. It does nothing to make the high better...only to make your car look like it has a cabin-built smoke machine. But, I've found that if you leave at least one window slightly open for the entire time of a driving blaze, it should be mostly cleared out by the time you're parked back at home. The AC works too, though not as well. I'm not too sure about blazing in a completely stationary car. I also blaze at home in my room. I have two normal-sized windows and my room is roughly 10x12ft. If I have a bowl or two with the windows slightly open and I can feel the breeze, it clears out enough in a couple hours. Always cleared out overnight. Same story with AC. No spoofs (no dryer sheets in this house), just towel the door really good. |
