How do you get your news?

I was curious in seeing what medium you guys use to listen or read about news.

Personally my mediums are KFI radio, 2 news papers (LA times and The Opinion), MSNBC, Fox Noise, Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, The independent, and occasionally random internet articles.

read the newspaper, listen to the radio, watch the news on TV, read news articles on the internet, engage in conversation with other members of society regarding news or politics.

I reckon that I don't need news' salvation, because quite frankly my dear I just don't give a damn.

Thats just sad, why wouldn't you like to be informed? Even if its mainstream news you still have to separate the bullshit with the facts. I always hear young people say that and it makes the future look bleak, but hey, to each his own.

A few years in the past I discovered that either one of the two following conclusions is unequivocally true; either:

1) Everybody but me has gone mad, crazy, insane (or perhaps has always been that way).
2) I'm the one who's off his rocker, and everyone else is sanely ON their rocker.

Either way, I don't want to hear about what everyone else out there is doing... because you guys are all crazy sane.

Well, not neccessarily the news itself, but like, watching news chanells or reading the paper. Cause all of the headline news is depressing, or political, and I know nothing about politics and I don't like being depressed.

The majority of my news comes from NPR, if at all. Sometimes TV-based from NBC or CNN. I always take in the news with a cynical filter.

Being a big fan of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, I have to wonder how people actually get their news from those shows. I admit there is a lot of substance to them, but their primary focus is comedy. I find they're a great way to get a different perspective on the news, but not as a primary source of information. But that's just me. I get my news mostly online from various sources as well as cable news.
