| The url at the bottom of the page will bring you to my petition site. I hope I can count on your support. I will be sending off what I get signature wise to the government. Remember, for your vote to count you need to include FULL NAME AND ADDRESS!!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!! Will take letters too. Please send those direct to my email! I have lots of information, studies, company info. On the "Volcano" vaporizer. Patients health should come first before any marijuana argument. That should be the most important to the government. It could result in more costs if our health isn't protected, from long term marijuana use and the diseases that can result from it. Officials I've written to have vague interest in my argument. Some send me form letters how to apply for marijuana. I write off the top I'm a licensed marijuana user. So it makes me kind of disgusted that they don't address the direct question about the vaporizers. One said too expensive!! They don't deny someone who needs an oxygen machine that is necessary for a patients long term outcome, which is 3x the cost of a vaporizer. Our needs are no less as far our future health concerns go. I could use help with this. I really could use someone with computer experience to really do up a professional site. I'm kind of winging it and guessing I have things right. It would be much better if I had a petition to sign directly and not have to sign up for anything. I am interested in having a contest this summer and I need people to come together and help me. A donated web space would be the best thing to happen for this petition. I have a company who generously donated a Vap One already and a Compassion Club that donated nice pipes. The ultimate would be to have the "Volcano" to offer as grand prize. If you know any dealerships that might be so inclined to help that way, let me know. It's own web page would be convenient for supporters sign without obligation to join anything. The page could have sponsors and advertisers on it for people to visit if they choose. If anyone is interested in putting a contest together, it would really bring attention to this cause. Best letter addressed to the government would win grand prize. For just signing the petition we can have a draw for the pipes. I am co-ordinating this with an Ontario Compassion Club and would like to invite all the Clubs in Canada to take part. A B.C. woman (Pam Edgar) recently won her right to have the government pay for her vaporizer. she made them see reason. See, it can and has been done! It should be a right afforded all medical marijuana patients in Canada!!!!!!! Please contact me if you can help my cause. In the mean time, please sign my petition. Thanks all!!! | I believe the correct term here is "Wall of text hits you for 100000 points of damage." Also, "Online petitions are about as useful as a screen door on a space station." And, I'm sorry - but if you want to get marijuana Legalized, online petitions are a waste. Go donate your time and money to NORML or another legalization movement, one with political lobbiests. |

| I don't buy into the idea that smoking marijuana is that much of a health problem. All of the research I've seen has been highly questionable. If you want to vape, you don't need a $500 Volcano to do it. You can get a really nice convection vape for $120. I'm much more concerned that sick people be able to get the kind of weed they need at a price they can afford than I am about the small percentage of them registered with the Canadian government getting free vapes.

| Dear Mary, Thank you for your email and for raising this issue with me. We are not currently aware of the Volcano Vaporizer and will certainly have a look into it. The NDP definitely believes that any drugs or devices that have been scientifically demonstrated to be indispensable for the health of Canadians should be made available through our health care system. Mary, I want to assure you that the federal NDP team is determined to help implement health care solutions and deliver to Canadians the innovative health care services they deserve. We are committed to working with this minority Parliament to achieve these goals. Once again, thank you for getting in touch. Be well, Jack Jack Layton, MP (Toronto-Danforth) Leader, New Democratic Party of Canada -----Original Message----- So letters to Jack Layton please! I need your support. I've been trying to get a politician to listen. This is excellent, who better? He has a facebook page as well as his own web site. Please leave your personal thoughts why vaporizers should be covered. Thanks! Peace, Freedom Crow |

| Yeeeah...but you don't want Canadas flawed health care system, if you ever have anything seriously wrong...get in line. Most of the funding goes toward the generally healthy population and their minor/cheap woes. |

| I'm kinda 50-50 on this one. Marijuana smokers have many ways of using the drug (even though vaporizers wouldn't be as harsh on one's lungs), but I think that people with heart problems, AIDS, cancer or other serious illnesses deserve that money more than someone who has to get over pain in their leg or something. If the user has any of those listed above, then I'd be all for it... anything less, no |

| I believe that the thousands of people that are waiting in line for their life saving surgery should get the funding...not people who want to save a couple hundred on their paraphernalia for pain relief. If these people want to save their lungs, they can take a tincture or eat it. Quote:
