What do you think is the age to start smoking marijuana and when did you start smoking. Im 14 and i started when i was 13 like a year and a half ago.

I'm in exactly the same situation. I'm 14 now and started when I was 13. I think it completely depends on your matureaty level. If you feel that its the right time for you to smoke, then smoke. Make the mature decision.

You should wait until you are 18. Before that you're brain is still developing a lot and there is a suspicion that using marijuana prior to that interferes with that development.

Never knew that. I'm glad I waited until I was 19!

One of the biggest problems I see for smoking really young would be that it could really mess up your priorities in life.

I'm 16, almost 17 and my first smoke was at age 13 but i had never done it again until a year later in 8th grade, a few more times freshman year, and then about once a week starting sophomore year. And so far my grades have been pretty decent, A's B's and C's and thats typically what i always get. So far so good, eh?

But just in case maybe I should cut down?

I am going to have to say 17 or 18, mostly because by that time you have either graduated, or are almost there. Pot can have a major effect on school and grades, and a high school education is just as important in todays world as a college education...not to mention, you need to achieve the former...before you can even think about the latter. I started when I was 14, and I know firsthand, the effects that it can have on your grades, I am lucky that I stuck in there...not many people do, and they just end up dropping out.

i didnt start until i was 16, but for some reason, i started out with crack at 14. weird huh? i think it depends on the person.

i started when i was 13. i'm 17 now and have had my high school diploma for over a year. it varies person to person.
