Default What is the longest you ever stayed high

I smoked constantly for a week. The only time I was sober was during the morning when I first wake up..

My Schedule:

Wake up , smoke a blunt
Eat breakfast
Take a shower and smoke a bowl in the shower
Go to school and smoke a tiny bowl at break
Smoke a huge blunt when I got home
etc

I stayed high until I went to sleep.

Why would anyone want to do that? It sounds really boring.

It doesn't have to be really boring Buzzby. You can smoke all day and find plenty of things to do to keep yourself occupied.

What statement? I asked a question and expressed an opinion.

There was a time in my life when I smoked all day long and it was boring as hell. When you're stoned all of the time, it moves from the area of "recreational use" to "drug abuse". Just because a drug is nontoxic and non-addictive doesn't mean that it can't be abused.

If someone told you that they drank a six-pack before going to school, had a can or two at lunch time, and put away a couple of six-packs in the evening, wouldn't you think that person was abusing alcohol? Just because it's marijuana doesn't mean it's not drug abuse.

Nobody's more boring than a drug abuser. That's why I stopped hanging with druggies. Nobody is more bored than a drug abuser, if they stop being stoned long enough to realize how bored they are. That's why I stopped being a druggie.

i agree with Buzzby, i think that if you just smoke all the time it can take the fun away and you will start to want to become sober and just chill instead of being high. but i guess if you wanna smoke all the time no one's gonna stop you

Well, I agree it's drug abuse... I just don't agree it's boring.

It might be more enjoyable to smoke once a day, once a week, or to even stay sober. That's all about personal opinion. But the existence of a more enjoyable routine doesn't necessarily make the original routine boring.

I also disagree that drug abuse, in general, is boring... especially since you mentioned beer.

I asked you why it's boring to smoke all day, every day. Your reply was that it's drug abuse, and drug abuse is boring. What makes drug abuse boring? What is it that makes sobriety so fulfilling and entertaining? Is it the feeling of accomplishment or productivity? Is it the enjoyment you get from spending time with your friends and family, or watching TV or a movie? Being charitable, open-minded, friendly, or whatever? If these things make sobriety so enjoyable then why would drug abuse be boring, when all these doors are still wide open?

I'm not defending a life of drug abuse... I just don't like the word "boring", especially when the drug is the herb.

I find its actually fun to just smoke a little bit... get high. Wait a few days.

You build up suspense. Rather that just give into pleasure hedostically, if you wait, you can really relish and enjoy those moments high.

Plus its cheaper

Highest I've stayed was about 8 hours after eating a cookie and smoking a bowl throughout the day.

Its not like he said he does this every week. He said he did it for one week. I wouldn't consider that drug abuse. But even if he is stoned and completely functional in society whats wrong with getting high all the time?

If he can keep and stay on top of things I don't see it as a problem.

Maybe his sober life is boring? and he just wants something to do.

Some things to make a whole day of smoking exciting:

All day concert events.
Roadtrips
Kayaking trips
Fishing trips

just a few.
