I think i might do that, some people just dont realize how many ppl are pro-marijuana these days. I used to work at a drive-thru liquor store (how frikkin convenient, the promotion of drinking and driving being legal) and i noticed that several people that i would have never pictured smoking pot would come through and buy zig-zags or blunt sticks, or would smell heavily of marijuana. This makes me think that there are so many more ppl out there smoking pot than let on and if we would all just stop being pussies and ban together by writing our government officials then maybe..just maybe we could get this ban lifted. We should start a group/newsletter to help ppl get involved. Even though they are annoying as hell maybe we could start sending bulk I.M.s and emails to get ppl to sign on to the effort.

im sure they all did it, but i doubt they would win an election "hands down"

there a lot of people out there opposing marijuana, and they out number "us", and if a political leader flaunted marijuana then he/she would get not get the votes of people that oppose weed.

but yes, of course, if someone said that, it would really be something

true, but the number of pro-legalization people is still lagging behind. many of the people who used to toke up have 'reformed' their ways or just seem uninterested in the topic anymore. if politicians really went by all the things they used to do (or maybe even still do?), i think wed have a lot more drugs than just weed legal. but that aint happenin, thats not how you get votes, unfortunately.

i doubt that, i know there are a lot of smokers out there, but definetly not the majority.

you may think that it is not a majority. i am a clean cut loking individual, and I have been burning since my teens and I am now 37(geezer by ricks standards) I have met and became friends with many people that I would have never thought would be tokers......(clean cut profesionals as in real estate agents, accountants, lab techs and so on...) some in there mid 50s.
And it was only after years of knowing them that I found out about their toking. and I can say that well over half of the people i know smoke MJ. never ever judje a book by its cover my friend. Most people are afraid to open their closet and let that skeleton out, exspecially with a doobie hangin out of his mouth. most keep it well hidden because our government scares the livin s*** out of them. and yes all my friends know I toke. I tell them I toke and I am always straight up with them. weather they smoke or not they respect my decisions and draw their own conclutions. they see that I am a productive individual and that only proves that what our government flaunts as fact is nothing but lies. I have never lost a friend because I toke. You people must stop fearing society. start showing society, prove to them that the government is untruthful. show them that a marijuana user is as or if not more productive than the goverment states.....I am a toker, I am proud of it, and I am not low life.........wake up and take a closer look around you.
we have the masses to end prohibition... we just need to stop fearing the government that we ultimatly control.
I know lots of people that lurk here, never became a member, are afraid to post, all because they fear the government is monitoring this site.
hell, they probably are, but I say PEE ON EM!!! our voices must be heard to make a difference!! It is up to all of you. that is all I got to say for now.
im startin to get too wound up......feel like throwing my fists in the air and yelling, but I gotta go to work early in the am. after all I am a stoner, but a productive stoner. and one that you could walk into and never guess by looking at me or talking to me.

I'll run for an office one day and say, "I inhaled, too many times to count, and I loved the f*ck out of it, in fact I smoked a fatty right before I gave this speech." wouldn't that be grand?

winning in politic is about leverage. That is why I hate politics.

Marijuana is effective medecine and nothing more.

people who call it political are dingbats because its like saying "if you take tylenol you are a moderate right-wing conservative but if you drink tea then you are a libby-leftist."

Niether side is right and the argument only confuses people more, IMHO

Marijuana is here for all people not just the libertarians...
