Got enough of a refund to buy a van, as well as other new toys (growlights, supplies, seeds...etc.). I am a poor mofo. This is a good time of year for us poverty stricken souls.

Just think, a windfall from the prohabitionists! Does Bush know what you are spending your refunf on? Don't worry, I won't tell. You want to know the bad news about refunds? The government gets to use your money all year, INTEREST FREE. Of course, there is a good side. Besides the van, lights, seeds, etc. For many people it is an aid to saving. The gov. puts a little money aside so you CAN get a van, grow lights...

In 1983 I got back a tax refund of around 400 bucks and a few months later recieved a letter telling me the return was all wrong and that I owed them the money back.I never did pay it back and havent filed taxes since that year except for once in 1996 just to see what would happen.They kept the 2600+ dollars I was gonna get back and applied it to my ever increasing debt.
They also sent me a letter requesting me to sign a permission for them to continue to harrass me over the matter untill 2004.
I'll have to check into it this year.If I get around to it.

I got a $400 refund, which was the vast majority of the taxes I paid. I didn't even cheat too much, either.

I think most of the people on here are younger and don't make a ton of money, which is why we're all getting refunds

Tax seasons works great for me.

I make a little money from friends & family, checking their books and filing their returns. Got enough business expenses (laptop, mobile phone etc.) to have a nice fiscal loss. With 2 other jobs I am estimating a € 1200 income tax and a € 200 VAT refund. There's nothing that won't hold up either.

A few days Barcelona would be nice.

yup refund for me! $800 (ok ok $799.92) Canadian that is...
Was planning on buying a nice 15" sub for my truck until my amp got stolen 3 weeks ago. Then decided a new computer...then decided a new discman and some new headphones. Then I just decided to put it into my bank and save it for next year's car insurance. Bought some new headphones anyways
