I like to use it for many reasons. I use it for chronic pain. It helps me sleep. It helps me socialize. It helps me enjoy my everyday life. It makes me use my brain. It opens my mind. So I guess it's a mix of recreational, spiritual, and medicinal.
I don't call it addicted I call it a lifestyle. Cannabis was meant to be your friend for life.

Mainly though, i smoke recreationally, just for fun when im chillin with friends on a weekend.

I have severe degenerative arthritis throughout my entire skelatal system,& mmj is the only thing that gives me complete relief. A good indica does it for me. Toke on people,Toke on.

Well it definitely started recreationally....

Now I use and grow for both medicinal and recreational purposes...but I went with Meds because without it I really notice how much pain I'm in and how bad my stomach is messed up. 9 years pushing this wheelchair (paraplegic) around gives me some nice joint aches too, especially in my hands and shoulders.

Since I've been toking it's been like 7 or 8 years since I've been on any kind of prescription medication. That shit made me feel like a zombie. Muscle relaxers and lortabs and antidepressants....ugh. Just my pot, please...and I'm alright.

I use it both recreationaly and medicaly. Sometimes I'm bored, and have nothing to do and smoke or I hang with a few friends and toke up a bunch to have a good time. Other times I smoke to get rid of bad pains, or so I can get motivated to eat and sleep comfortabley as I have bad sleeping problems.

I use it recreationally and spiritually, with a little bit of self-medication thrown in (for headaches and other such minor ailments).

When I say I use Cannabis spiritually, I feel that in frequent, albeit moderate doses, it can help with one's emotional and intellectual understanding of oneself. It can bring up memories of past experiences that have been welled-up and supressed, and although that can be intense and stressful, and altogether an unpleasant experience, the process of releasing those can be a powerful life teacher. It's in this way that the herb helps me be upfront and confrontational with my life, past, present and future. That being said, it's not a path for everyone.

Recreationally, I would include that spiritual use, 'cause most recently I've been smoking up frequently, i.e. at least once or twice a day, mornings and afternoons. I started it as a fun thing, and then the spiritual, habitual mindset fell into place. At times I've considered whether I continued doing it because of any psychological addiction, and the answer has been consistently no.

I just ran out of pot, mid-week (bummer), but I just got over a workload + personal drama episode so I've been carried through what I needed to smoke my way through. It's all good. I think I'll be able to deal with the withdrawal from my pot smoking habits now that I'm beyond all that. At least I'll be able to have an incentive to not smoke until after my AP Biology exam, which is this monday (yipe).
