most of the time for me, it is spiritually. i find it helps me get back to "center". there are times when i use it recreationally because i find it induces an extreme amount of creativity in some of the hobbies i dabble in.

I am definately a recreational user. But i could say that it does give me the munchies so i eat a lot more. this is helping me gain weight cauie im too skinny.

I'm with Red. I wanted to vote for the top 3. There is such a long list of uses for marijuana...the list could be endless. What it boils down to is, it makes me happy. Spiritually and physically. I LOVE WEED!

Just spent a couple of hours downtown trying to find some smoke! Didn't find nothing! Found quite a few bars though! NOT FAIR. How come I can't go into the liquor store and get a few joints the same way I can get some beer?

With all due love and peace, the poll options are a bit too limited . A medical user for instance may also use cannabis for spiritual and recreational reasons - hell, some may define spiritual and recreational as the same thing. There are also people who smoke cannabis for no real reason, and who are misinformed. Perhaps a better way to phrase the question is, what does marijuana do for you that works for you? A great idea to pitch in a poll though, kudos.

Everyone should remember a few basic things when it comes to calling pot "medicinal". If you smoke herb because you like it, it is recreational use with or without medicinal benefits. As you may recall Dinero saying in Taxi Cab, "you're only as healthy as you feel". Even a "sense" of wellbeing can manifest mentally and physically. So, even if you aren't utilizing the anti-nausea, supressed gag reflex (anti- ), or any of the other "medical" effects of grass, you can still find great medicinal use in the anti-anxiety and confidence boosting effects of it. Everyone is different, don't delude yourself - recognize the positive and negative effects of potsmoking (and all your habits really) truthfully.
