Probably all three. Mostly recreational, because it provides relaxation and fun. Spiritual, because it expands your mind and deepends your understanding of life. And a little medicinal, muscle relaxant, anti-inflamatory, ect.

Recreationally..I smoke to get ideas about things i normally dont open my mind to..Diffrent ways to do things , make things...normally when i see a PCP pipe i just see a tube...but when i see it when im stoned i see diffrent ways to make superpipes and round-room bowls

I am currently drinking hemp oil for chronic pain but have heard that the THC and cannabinoids in mrijuana are supposed to make marijuana even better for this use but I do not use marijuana because I do not have a way to get hold of it since I moved away from the neighbors that grew a small quantity. I did smoke some of theirs a couple of times and was impressed by how much it helped my pain to the point that I did not even want my normal pain meds those days.

For me I think it’s a combination of all three but mainly for medical purposes.

I’ve been diagnosed as having Clinical Depression and Anxiety for five years now. They’ve pushed countless drugs on me in hope of curing me but none of them have ever worked. I started smoking pot after my Cousin told me he was. I listen to him talk about it all through out my junior high years and finally tried it in high school. I didn’t really get into it until Sophomore/Junior year; when it was more available to me.

I’ve also developed a slight case of insomnia and marijuana is the only thing that will get me to sleep, keep me asleep, and not leave me feeling groggy in the morning. It’s really helped me and although my doctors think I’m just an idiot pothead I couldn’t care less. Marijuana is doing what none of them could. One of them even commented on how good I’m looking now but still says “you’re wrong”(for smoking pot). Oh and I’m also “wrong” for wanting to have sex (I went to get birth control).

I mainly (80%) smoke recreationally but since I'm over 50 years old I also suffer from "old age" problems like arthritis and pot increases the effectiveness of Tylenol or Percocet or whatever other pain reliever I'm using.
The fact that the only side effect is euphoria is fine by me too.

i thought u ment how u consumed it. but i use it rec, med and edu. I firmly believe i would not have passed high school without weed in my system (I also firmly believe i wouldnt have been kicked out of college without marijuana in my system)

I voted for medicinal (anxiety), but I also use it recreationally (for swimming in the pool, exercising, etc.) and spiritually (meditation). I am an "all of the above" kind of person

Although I am probably a twenty four hour a day person, if I'm awake, I like to be stoned. Just helps the old thought processes kick in.....

Gets the goop off the orbs, so to speak.............

I'm surprised no one brought up artistic usage yet. I would say that's distinct enough from recreational and spiritual. That, along with "all of the above" ought to be choices. Ah well.

BTW, I don't use it for artistic purposes, per se. I voted "Recreationally", whenever I cast my vote in this poll. I had just been thinking about it recently, this topic fresh in my memory.
