| I feel I wouldn't change my smoking patterns. BUt.... There is a chance that with avialability of pot varieties I might be smoking less cigarettees as I ween myself off them and move on to some milder herb to take a break, starting with a combination of low grade cannabis and tobacco, then finally no tobacco. Most people who smoke finish a cigarette, but dont finish a whole joint by themselves in one sitting. The higher the grade of weed, the more likely two tokes will be enough to do the job for a few hours, compared to 2 joints of mexican ditch weed. Legalized I might cook it instead of smoking it after a time. I bet after legalization there would be lots of people who would smoke themselves sick and quit for good. Even illegal there seems to be a few people who went that route. |

| it wouldnt change me. i think that even if it was legal i would still try to hide my usage. just because it is legal doesnt mean that people would think its ok, if they didnt like the idea of anyone using pot in the first place then it being legal wont just change their minds. it just means you just wont be busted by the cops. i also dont want to spend any more money than i already am for it too, so i would just keep on doin what i did before. |

| i don't think my smoking habits would change.. even if it was legal, my parents wouldn't approve, so i still couldn't sit around my house smoking or anything. i have no trouble getting weed anytime i want it, money allowing, so legalazation wouldn't cause me to buy more either. |

| I will comment on weed becoming legal, I'm military we need to smoke to put up with all the bulls hit. RIGHT! Once I'm out no worries. Pot Head By the way, it will never be legal because the government can't make doe off it. We would just grow it more freely in our homes, and fines would go way done. This is why its been illegal since the beginning. Since we can grow it, and since we can't easily make alcohol. The government made alcohol legal. Conspiracy is a motha ****a |

| I would have to admit that legalization wouldn't at all change my smoking habits. I smoke regularly and use about an eighth a week (that includes sharing with my fiance). So I probably use about an ounce a month. Because this is my regular amount that I use around work and school the amount I smoke or buy would not change considerably. I imagine for the short-term it might go up a little because of the novelty of being 'legal' with unfettered access but for the long term I would have to say that no, it wouldn't change my consumption much. |

| I voted and honestly i would smoke more because it would be available and i wouldn't be scared to grow my own. BUT i have promised since i started that if it were to become legal i would quit smokeing ciggarettes.

| I voted smoke more becasuse running out would no longer be an issue. Otherwise, my patterns would not change much other than I'd likely use it in cooking, as it is, you have to use so much for that it's way too costly. So on one side of the coin, I'd consume more, but on the other, my daily usage patterns would not change. Currently I smoke for a slight buzz. I rarely smoke to get blazed, usually only when smoking with friends because most of the people I smoke with are way more hardcore than I. Besides, most of the things I do are a serious buzzkill if I'm too stoned. A nice mellow buzz from morning to night suits me just fine. A hit or two every couple hours is all it takes, adn I love being a lightweight. When people tell me that they consume an eighth a day, that just amazes me. Logos P.S. Nice poll Doc!
