Yes it annoys the hell out of me any anyone who doesn't care is not helping the cause. I want to be able to smoke a joint and walk down my street and be looked at no differently than if it were a skiggy butt. But I can't since it's illegal.

How DARE the government have the audacity to tell me what I can and cannot put into my own body? Where and when did we decide that they deserve that right? And it makes me laugh that so many of the prohibitionists are Christian. Right in the Bible it says that God gave us every herb, plant and seed for our own use.

See, this is why it doesn't bother me that much, because no one in my area is that anti-drug. I guess I'm lucky.

Most of the employees at my job smoke marijuana, as well as a large portion of my school. I'm also extremely lucky though, I happen to live in an area that's very heavily influenced by liberal ideals.

The main problems I see with MJ being illegal are Traveling and Employment. I'm semi legal in California, but it sucks not being able to travel with it. And trying to find a job and wondering which places test and which don't and possibly having to pass on a great job oppurtunity because of testing.

Yes, because it is illegal for the wrong reason. There is a huge problem with the misinformation about marijuana. Thats what bothers me.

I thought the context of the question was does it bother you that you are smoking illegally. It doesn't for me, but the fact that it IS illegal and i have to watch my words when i'm talking to friends who haven't stated their stance on marijuana - that does. Currently i'm courting someone who has said she is pro-decrimminalization, despite her not likely being a person who would smoke. The other day a big pothead of a friend of mine comes over and talked about smoking and i was paranoid that this was how she would find out i smoke. Luckily my friend had the decency not to mention it indirectly. Also my parents pop can pipe one night and they totally just blew up and left me in no uncertain terms that if they find i am smoking again...they will kick their 17yr old son out onto the street and take me to a police station, which i kinda wanted to say they wouldn't do much.
