For The first 50 years....of my Life...actually found the peace I need and its been very simple actually. I was a precription junkie I guess...they said take it I did...One day came My liver...kidneys...and all other organs said Halt....I was told i didnt need them...couldnt take them anymore and I realized to live I had to do just that quit...I have been a firm believer in smoking herbs for the sanity of my being...I live a very quiet life now...have a mind to think with and prescription free...only herb to take away the stress for one day and to sleep so soundly ...without pills...I would recomend every one ...one a day to keep all the Doctors away....Sincerely Spiritwoman69

Lets see... Opiates, if that includes Vicodin than I'm down with that ****. I stay away from all the other derivatives of opium except for medicinal purposes, but Vicodin is a nice high that I really like. That said, I think I could live without it for the rest of my life in exchange for some nice dank Indica strain...

Hallucinogens, well it's been said before, weed is like a minor hallucinogen. When you get really baked you feel it... I haven't tried shrooms, LSD or any of that stuff yet but I know I'll eventually get to it. But... If I had to make the decision, weed would win.

Alcohol, isn't really the same as weed is for me. I like it and all but it's just not as... I don't know, different feeling and more impairment. That and you feel like **** the morning after. Weed over alcohol.

Nicotine... I've smoked a couple cigarettes and enjoy that light headed feeling but the feeling of Vicodin > Nicotine in my mind. The amount of tobacco a life long smoker ingests is absurd when compared to weed... **** nicotine.

Caffiene... This is something that helps me be more productive and wake up, but there are healthier ways to solve this problem. I could live without caffiene for weed.

And lastly, even though I put weed above all the other drugs, if it came down to it I think I could give up weed too. Hell, I'm taking a little break right now.

That does not include Vicodin, because Vicodin is a prescription pill, a narcotic, that you take. Opiates means opiates, which is opium, black tar heroin, and heroin. Vicodin is not opium, it's synthetic and a pill.

Well in that case, so has Cannabis been used for prescription purposes; as well as alcohol. I don't know why this has been so confusing for people, non-prescription means this doesn't include pills like Xanax, or Prozac, or Zoloft, or Steroids, or Ritalin, or anything else like that. You don't need a prescription, generally speaking, for a soda, or for a cigarette, or to buy bud from your dealer, or for some opium from your Poppy plants, etc. Morphine was a typo however, it shouldn't be listed really.

Vicodin/Hydrocodone IS an opiate.

no kidding, everybody says that weed is the "gateway drug"..but really its..well..it kinda is..but most pple dont even go on to harder drugs and if they do thats there chioce. i say we should all pack a bowl right now.
